Product description

The LSM6DSV32XTR 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is a high-performance, low-power 6-axis compact IMU with a 3-axis digital accelerometer (32g) and 3-axis digital gyroscope. These integrated components offer the best IMU sensors in a three-channel architecture that processes acceleration data and angular velocity data across three separate channels (user interface, OIS and EIS) with dedicated configuration, processing and filtering capabilities. The LSM6DSV32X supports edge computing processes with embedded advanced specialized features, such as a finite state machine (FSM) for configurable motion tracking and a context-aware machine learning kernel (MLC) for exportable AI capabilities for iot applications.


The LSM6DSV32X supports the Adaptive Self-configuration (ASC) feature, which enables the FSM to automatically reconfigure the device in real time based on the output of a particular motion pattern detected or a specific decision tree configured in the MLC, without any intervention from the host processor. The device is embedded with Qvar (Charge Change Detection) for user interface functions such as tap, double tap, triple tap, long press, or L/ R-r /L slide. The LSM6DSV32X also incorporates an analog hub that connects to external analog inputs and converts them into digital signals for processing.

The main interface is equipped with a dedicated EIS channel with a dedicated filtering function

Advanced pedometer, step detection and step counting

Large motion detection, tilt detection

Standard interrupts: Free fall, wake up, 6D/4D direction detection, click, and double click

Programmable finite state machine for accelerometers, gyroscopes, and external sensor data processing (960 Hz high rate)

Machine learning kernel (with outputable functions and filters) for AI applications

Embedded Adaptive Self-Configuration (ASC)

Embedded Qvar (Electrostatic sensor) supports user interface operations (single click, double click, triple click, long press, left/right - right/left swipe)

Embedded analog hub for analog-to-digital conversion and processing of analog input data

Embedded low power sensor fusion algorithm

Embedded temperature sensor

Analog supply voltage: 1.71V to 3.6V

Independent IO power supply (extended voltage range: 1.08V to 3.6V)

Power consumption: 0.65 mA in combined high performance mode

Compact shape: 2.5 mm x 3 mm x 0.83 mm
