Quectel EG91 Products

The Quectel EG91 is an LTE Cat 1 wireless communication module designed for M2M and IoT applications. It uses 3GPP Rel.11 LTE technology to deliver data rates of up to 10 Mbps in the downlink and 5 Mbps in the uplink, making the EG91 series an ideal solution for a wide range of IoT applications that don't rely on high-speed connectivity but require the persistence and reliability of an LTE network.

The EG91 series consists of eight models: EG91-NA, EG91-NAL, EG91-VX, EG91-NAX, EG91-NAX, EG91-NAXD, EG91-E, EG91-EX, and EG91-AUX. The EG91 series is compatible with the Quectel GSM M95 module, the UMTS/HSPA UG95/UG96 modules, and the LPWA BG95 series/BG96 modules. The EG91 series is pin compatible with Quectel GSM M95 modules, UMTS/HSPA UG95/UG96 modules and LPWA BG95 series/BG96/BC95-G modules. It is backward compatible with existing GSM/GPRS and UMTS/HSPA(+) networks, ensuring connectivity even in remote areas without 4G network coverage.

Rich Internet protocols, industry-standard interfaces and extensive features (USB serial drivers for Windows 7/8/10, Linux and Android, etc.) make the module suitable for a wide range of M2M and IoT applications, such as smart metering, wearables, environmental monitoring, asset tracking, fleet management, security and alarm systems.
