Overview:

The FGH100M is a long range, low power Wi-Fi HaLow module from Quectel that complies with the IEEE 802.11ah standard.Wi-Fi HaLow is an open standard Wi-Fi technology that operates in the licence-free Sub-1 GHz range.

The FGH100M operates at 850-950 MHz with a channel width of 1/2/4/8 MHz. It has a maximum physical rate of 32.5 Mbps1 and a theoretical maximum output power of 21 dBm. Based on the Sub-1 GHz frequency band, the module offers greater coverage and penetration performance to extend the reach of a smart home or smart city network, allowing users to control The FGH100M features low power consumption.

FGH100M adopts low-power design and supports large-capacity access. Theoretically, the same Wi-Fi access point can access up to 8,191 devices at the same time, which is more suitable for accessing large-scale IoT devices.

The FGH100M adopts an ultra-compact package of 13.0 mm × 13.0 mm × 2.2 mm, which optimises and effectively reduces the size and design cost of the end-products, and fully meets the needs of size-sensitive applications.
