Overview:

AWRL6432-Q1 Automotive mmWave radar sensor is an integrated single-chip mmWave sensor based on FMCW radar technology. These radar sensors are AEC-Q100 certified for automotive applications and operate in the 57GHz to 63.9GHz coverage range with a continuous bandwidth of 7GHz. The AWRL6432-Q1 radar sensor is divided into four power domains, such as the RF/analog subsystem, the Front-end Controller Subsystem (FECSS), the Application subsystem (APPSS) and the Hardware Accelerator (HWA). These radar sensors have built-in firmware and a built-in LDO network that enhances the PSRR. The radar sensor supports several low-power modes, such as idle mode and deep sleep mode. The low power sleep mode is achieved by clock gating and turning off the internal IP module of the device. Typical applications include in-car sensing, child presence detection, occupant detection, seat belt reminders, intruder detection, gesture-based human interface, and driver vital signs monitoring.
