The LAN9646T-I/MXX six-port Gigabit Ethernet switch is a fully integrated managed Layer 2, six-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with advanced features. The LAN9646T-I/MXX features four ports supporting 10/100/1000Mbps PHyS, and the other two can be configured as SGMII, RGMII, MII or RMII interfaces to connect to the host processor or external PHY. The LAN9646T-I/MXX can fully access registers via SPI, I2C or optional in-band management (via any data port), and the MIM interface provides access to PHY registers.
The security features of LAN9646T-I/MXX include authentication based on IEEE 802.1X port and ACL filtering. It also supports power management functions such as Energy Saving Ethernet (EEE) to achieve an energy-saving environment.
