Overview:

The BCM4916 is a high-performance quad-core ARM v8 compatible 64-bit processor designed for next-generation 10Gb wireless applications. The quad-core B53 CPUs have enough horsepower to support the throughput of Broadcom's ultra-high-performance Wi-Fi 7 access point chip and still provide plenty of room to run customers' value-added applications. The BCM4916 features a dual-release runner network processor and a high-performance security processing unit (SPU). The integrated 10G/5G/2.5G multi-Gigabit PHY makes it the ideal platform to support next-generation multi-gigabit broadband networks.
