Overview:

The ATWINC3400 SPI+UART to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) modules are designed to quickly and easily add wireless connectivity to Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The ATWINC3400 module is an ideal addition to existing microcontroller (MCU) solutions, providing Wi-Fi and BLE networking capabilities via a SPI-to-Wi-Fi interface. The ATWINC3400 can be connected to any Microchip PIC or SAM MCU with very low resource requirements.

The most advanced mode of the ATWINC3400 is single-stream 1 x 1 802.11n mode. The ATWINC3400 features fully integrated power amplifier, LNA, switching, and power management capabilities. The ATWINC3400 also features an on-chip processor and integrated flash memory for system software, with built-in coexistence mechanisms for parallel Wi-Fi and BLE functions. The only external clock source required for the ATWINC3400 is a high-speed crystal or oscillator.

Microchip technology ATWINC3400 SPI+UART to Wi-Fi and BLE modules can be used for external antennas with integrated chip antennas or micro U.F.L connectors. Both models have a compact 22.43mm x 14.73mm form factor.
