Product Details

The LTC2996CDD is a highly accurate temperature sensor featuring adjustable over-temperature and under-temperature thresholds as well as an open drain alarm output. The LTC2996CDD can convert the temperature of an external diode sensor or its own chip into an analog output voltage and suppress errors caused by noise and series resistance. Compare the measured temperature with the upper and lower limits set by the resistive voltage divider. If the threshold is exceeded, the LTC2996CDD will send an alarm signal by pulling the corresponding drain open logic output to a low level.


The LTC2996CDD can provide an accurate temperature result of ±1℃ by using commonly used NPN or PNP transistors or the built-in temperature diodes of new digital devices. A 1.8V reference output simplifies the threshold setting and can be used as an ADC reference input.


The LTC2996CDD adopts a compact 3mm x 3mm DFN package, providing an accurate and low-power solution for temperature monitoring.
