The TPS92662A-Q1 LED Matrix Manager device enables a fully dynamic adaptive lighting solution by providing individual pixel-level LED control. The device's 3 series-integrated switches each have 4 sub-strings that bypass individual LEDs.The individual sub-strings allow the device to accept single or multiple current sources.

The TPS92662AQPHPRQ1 is a programmable Pierce crystal oscillator driver that achieves optimal performance by selecting the driver strength based on the quartz crystal or ceramic resonator manufacturer's recommendations. It also includes drive strength selectable clock buffers. By varying the drive strength of the clock buffer, the rise and fall times of the clock signal as well as the EMI can be controlled, and the clock buffer can be disabled, if necessary, to eliminate noise generated by the clock signal and minimise EMI.

The TPS92662A-Q1 supports a multipoint Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART) serial interface and is compatible with the TPS92662-Q1 and TPS92663-Q1 devices.The I 2C communication interface is used to read from or write to an external EEPROM that stores system calibration data. 

An on-board 8-bit ADC with two multiplexed inputs is used for system temperature compensation and to measure grading values for LED grading and coding.
