Details
The AD9956YCPZ is ADI's first AgileRF frequency synthesizer, consisting of a DDS and PLL circuit. The DDS features a 14-bit DAC with a maximum operating speed of 400 MSPS and a 48-bit frequency-tuned word. The PLL circuit contains a phase detector, which has an adjustable 200 MHz input (the working frequency of the pre-calibrator input can reach up to 650 MHz), and can digitally control the charge pump current. This device also has a 650 MHz PECL driver with a programmable slew rate built in.
The AD9956YCPZ adopts advanced DDS technology and is equipped with a high-speed, high-performance digital-to-analog converter and an advanced phase detector/charge pump combination, capable of synthesizing digital programmable, frequency-agile analog output sine waves up to 2.7 GHz. The AD9956YCPZ is specifically designed to provide fast frequency hopping and precise tuning resolution (48-bit frequency tuning word). The information is loaded into the AD9956 through a serial I/O port, and the device's write speed is 25 Mb/ s. The AD9956YCPZ DDS module also supports user-defined linear scanning working modes.
The rated operating temperature range of AD9956YCPZ is from -40 °C to +125°C, extending the temperature range for automotive applications.
