The JN5189 portfolio is designed to power a new generation of extremely low current wireless devices, supporting Zigbee 3.0, Thread, and IEEE 802.15.4. It offers several low power modes, TX and RX power consumption is extremely low, so devices powered by JN5189 can extend battery life. The JN5189 offers -100 dBm receiving sensitivity and +11 dBm transmitting output power, providing reliable and robust communication performance.

The JN5189 uses an Arm® Cortex-M4 MCU and can run 640 KB of onboard flash memory and 152 KB of SRAM, providing plenty of space and flexibility for complex applications and OTA upgrades without the need for external memory. It has a wealth of MCU peripherals and multiple serial communication interfaces for embedded connectivity applications. The JN5189T has built-in NFC NTAG for contactless NFC debugging, which simplifies network expansion.
