Recently, the T830 platform, the latest member of MediaTek's 5G products, was unveiled.

According to reports, as a highly integrated system single chip, T830 adopts 4nm process technology and Arm Cortex-A55 quad-core CPU, equipped with M80 baseband, supports 3GPP R16 standard and Sub-6GHz full-band 5G network, and the 5G rate is up to 7Gbps. In this way, MediaTek is committed to extending the advantages of 5G to the home and enterprise fields.


MediaTek points out that for device manufacturers, the T830's highly integrated and compact design can significantly save power and reduce development time and cost. Telecom equipment companies can use existing Sub-6GHz mobile network infrastructure to reduce the cost of laying cables or fiber, enabling 5G speeds of up to 7Gbps in one go. The T830 can create a small, easy-to-use, portable 5G network device, saving consumers time-consuming broadband fixed network installation procedures and providing a high-speed 5G experience.
