According to sources, Realtek can fulfill 60% of its total orders for WiFi 6 system chips on hand, and the adoption rate of WiFi 6 chips in PC and router applications will exceed 70% in the second half of this year.
Prices for WiFi 6 SoCs are also relatively stable compared to other chips, especially for consumer electronics applications, which are already facing downward pressure due to a rapid slowdown in end markets, the sources said. Prices for WiFi 5 and WiFi 4 SoCs are about to start dropping.
