Overview

The U-blox NOR-W30 multi-protocol module is a small, self-contained dual-band Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth ® low-power microcontroller unit (MCU) module. The modules operate in a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, a frequency band of 2.4GHz to 5GHz, and a Wi-Fi range up to IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. Typical applications include industrial automation, smart cities, smart buildings and homes, metering and utilities, healthcare, and electric vehicle charging.

The NOR-W30 module includes hardware security features such as secure boot, a trusted execution environment with Arm® TrustZone®, encrypted flash memory, debug port protection, and a cryptographic acceleration engine. Wireless communication is ensured with WPA2/WPA3 authentication, TLS 1.2/1.3 encryption, BLUETOOTH® LE secure connection pairing, and HTTPS.
