Product introduction

The FC909A is a high-performance Wi-Fi 4 and BLE (Bluetooth 5.2) module in an LCC package. It can be used to establish wireless LAN and Bluetooth connections. With an ultra-compact size of 12.0mm x 12.0mm x 1.95mm, the FC909A optimizes the size and cost of the end product. It uses a reliable SDIO 2.0 interface design to provide WLAN capabilities, and also offers an integrated power management unit (PMU), power amplifier (pa), and low noise amplifier to meet the needs of mobile devices requiring low power consumption and small size.

The FC909A is Bluetooth 5.2 compatible module. The Bluetooth transmitter also comes with a Stage 1 power amplifier. The FC909A supports extended synchronous connection-oriented links (eSCO) to reduce RF interference by allowing the re-transmission of lost packets and adaptive frequency hopping (AFH) to improve voice quality.

Surface mount technology (SMT) makes the FC909A the ideal solution for durable and rugged designs. The thin and small size of the LCC package ensures that it can be easily embedded in size-constrained applications and provides a reliable connection to these applications. Advanced packaging and laser-engraved labels with better heat dissipation and non-erasable marks can be used in large-scale automated manufacturing with stringent requirements for cost and efficiency.
