Overview

The DAC70004IDMDR is a 14-bit high-precision, low-power, voltage-output, four-channel digital-to-analog converter (DAC). This device is designed to ensure monotonicity and has an excellent linearity of less than 1 LSB (maximum value). The reference input of the DAC is buffered internally through a dedicated reference buffer.


The DAC70004IDMDR device is equipped with a power-on reset circuit to ensure that the DAC output is powered on at the zero range or the midpoint of the range (depending on the state of the POR pin) and remains in this state until a valid code is written into the device. The current consumption of the DAC70004IDMDR device is extremely low (1mA/ channel), making it an ideal choice for portable, battery-powered devices. This device also contains a power-off characteristic. This characteristic can reduce the current loss at 5V voltage to 3µA (typical value).


In addition, the DAC70004IDMDR device uses a universal three-wire serial port with an operating clock rate of up to 50MHz. The DAC70004IDMDR device also includes an SDO pin, which can connect multiple devices in a Daisy chain form. This interface is compatible with standard SPI™, QSPI™, Microwire and Digital Signal processor (DSP) interfaces.
