The CYW89820 is a single-chip, Bluetooth 5.0-compatible standalone baseband processor system-on-chip (SoC) with an integrated 2.4GHz transceiver. The CYW89820 is manufactured in the industry's most advanced 40nm CMOS low power process with the highest level of integration, eliminating all critical external components, thereby minimizing the size of the device and the cost of implementing Bluetooth solutions.
The device integrates a transceiver, baseband processor, Arm Cortex-M4, and application flash on a single chip, replacing specific functional devices with a design that offers all Bluetooth operating modes.
AIROC™ CYW89820 is supported by code examples provided by the AIROC Bluetooth SDK in ModusToolbox software and tools. To support the rapid development of Bluetooth use cases in industry (access control, asset tracking, factory automation, logistics management, sensors) and automotive (car access, car sharing, keyless entry, passive entry and passive start, wireless diagnostics /OBD, sensors and cable replacement).
