Description
The LTC2672HUH-12 is a five-channel, 12-bit current source, digital-to-analog converter (DAC), providing five highly compatible current source outputs and guaranteeing a 600mV voltage drop at 200mA. Each channel has eight programmable current ranges, with a full-scale output up to 300 mA. These channels can be connected in parallel, enabling ultra-fine regulation of large currents or achieving combined outputs up to 1.5A. Each output channel has a dedicated power pin. Each channel can operate within the range of 2.1V to VCC, and the internal switch can connect any output to an optional negative power supply.
The LTC2672HUH-12 includes a precisely integrated 1.25V reference voltage source (with a maximum value of 10ppm/°C), and an external reference voltage source can be optionally used. The three-wire serial interface is compatible with the Serial peripheral interface (SPI) and can operate at a logic level as low as 1.71V and a clock frequency up to 50 MHz.
