Description
ISO7742TBDWRQ1 is a high-performance four-channel digital isolator of grade 1 that integrates a transformer driver, has an isolation level of 5000VRMS, and complies with UL 1577 standards. Enhanced insulation grades that comply with VDE, CSA, TUV and CQC standards.
While isolating complementary metal-oxy-semiconductor (CMOS) or low-voltage complementary metal-oxy-semiconductor (LVCMOS) digital I/O, the ISO7742TBDWRQ1 device can also provide high electromagnetic immunity and low radiation while featuring low power consumption. The logic input and output buffers of each isolated channel are isolated by a double-capacitor silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulated gate phase. If the input power or signal is lost, devices without the suffix "F" will output a high level by default, and devices with the suffix "F" will output a low level by default.
The ISO7742TBDWRQ1 features a low-noise and low-EMI push-pull transformer driver, specifically designed for small isolated power supplies. The transformer driver drives the thin intermediate tap transformer through a DC power supply ranging from 2.25V to 5.5V. Extremely low noise and EMI were achieved through the control of the slew rate of the output switching voltage and the spread spectrum clock (SSC). The ISO7742TBDWRQ1 consists of an oscillator and a gate driver circuit, which can provide complementary output signals for driving the ground reference N-channel power switch. The ISO7742TBDWRQ1 features two 0.7A power MOSFET switches to ensure normal startup under heavy load conditions. The internal protection features include 1.75A current limiting, under-voltage locking, thermal shutdown and the circuit of breaking first and then closing. The ISO7742TBDWRQ1 features a soft start characteristic, which can prevent high inrush current from occurring during the power-on period of large-load capacitors. In addition, the ISO7742TBDWRQ1 features a 420kHz internal oscillator suitable for applications that require higher efficiency and a smaller transformer size.
