The DP83867IRRGZR device is a robust low-power full-function physical layer transceiver. It integrates the PMD sub-layer to support the 10BASE-Te, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T Ethernet protocols. The DP83867IRRGZR has been optimized to provide ESD protection, exceeding the 8kV IEC 61000-4-2 standard (direct contact).
The DP83867IRRGZR can easily achieve 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet LAN. This device is directly connected to the twisted-pair dielectric through an external transformer. The DP83867IRRGZR is directly connected to the MAC layer via the IEEE 802.3 Standard Media Independent Interface (MII), IEEE 802.3 Gigabit Media Independent Interface (GMII), or Simplified GMII (RGMII). The DP83867IRRGZR device supports RGMII.
The DP83867IRRGZR offers precise clock synchronization, including a synchronized Ethernet clock output. This device has low latency and provides IEEE 1588 frame start detection.
When operating at full power, the DP83867IRRGZR only consumes 490mW (PAP) and 457mW (RGZ). Local area network wake-up can be used to reduce system power consumption.
