The MAX25210ATAD8 regulator has the following characteristics:

Helps system designers meet the strict module requirements of 100μA static current

Low static current: 10µA

Up to 300mA output current capability (300mA, 200mA, 100mA and 50mA versions)

User selectable output voltage (+3.3V or +5V fixed, adjustable range via external resistance divider: +0.6V to +11V)

Small output capacitors reduce board space and reduce BOM costs

Stable operation with 2.2µF output capacitance

An accurate low-level active RESET output with adjustable delay requires no separate reset IC

Open leak low level active RESET output with adjustable delay

Fixed reset threshold options: 87.5% or 93.5%

Works under cold start conditions

The low voltage difference voltage is 280mV at 200mA

+3.5V to +30V Wide input voltage range, +40V tolerance

Stable performance in automotive environments

Thermal protection and short circuit protection

High voltage enable input (+40V)

Operating temperature range: -40°C to +125°C

Meets automotive standard AEC-Q100

About MAX25210ATAD8

The MAX25210ATAD8 High voltage linear regulator is ideal for use in automotive and battery powered systems. Powered by +3.5V to +30V input voltages, the device provides up to 300mA of load current with a static current consumption of only 10µA (typical) when unloaded. The MAX25210ATAD8 has a current consumption of only 2µA (typical) when turned off. The input has a +42V transient tolerance to operate under sudden load drops. The MAX25210ATAD8 can be configured with a fixed output voltage (+3.3V or +5V) or with an adjustable output voltage using an external resistor divider.


In addition, the MAX25210ATAD8 has an open-leak, low-level active RESET output that provides 93.5% and 87.5% of the output voltage as fixed thresholds. After the output voltage exceeds its threshold, the low-level active RESET output will remain low for a fixed period of 60μs. Low level active RESET delay can be extended by external capacitors.


MAX25210ATAD8 includes enable input, short circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. The MAX25210ATAD8 operates in the automotive grade temperature range from -40°C to +125°C.
