The general manager believes that as the shortage of materials for customers eases, 5G and AIoT customers with relatively stable demand will start to pull goods, and he is optimistic that the fourth quarter operation is expected to bottom out and recover.
Regarding the memory market conditions, it is expected that the demand for DRAM may grow slowly in the fourth quarter as the shortage of materials eases; the oversupply of NAND Flash is not expected to ease before the end of the year.
He believes that due to external factors such as inflation, epidemic closures, and the Russian-Ukrainian war, consumer demand is affected, but 5G infrastructure, AIoT, entertainment industries and other fields are gradually recovering, and the demand for strong applications is also good.
It also pointed out that the current inventory of the original factory and module factory is about 10-12 weeks, and the end-customer memory inventory is relatively low. Apacer Technology has also started inventory adjustment. Most of the inventory is industrial control products. If the forecast eases, customers are expected to start pulling goods, the visibility of orders in the fourth quarter is expected to improve, and operations will bottom out.
