Device description:

The FDA803S is a new ST single-channel Class D audio amplifier designed specifically for automotive applications. The FDA803S integrates a 24-bit, 100 dB DAC conversion and PWM Class D output stage to provide feedback before the LC filter. This configuration makes it possible to design compact and inexpensive applications.

The FDA803S Class D automotive audio amplifier offers up to 16 channels of I2S and TDM digital bit streams with a variety of sampling frequencies from 8kHz to 96kHz. The FDA803S is built with complete diagnostic capabilities to meet the most demanding Oems' requirements for speaker control and system robustness/reliability. In addition, the FDA803S supports start-stop starting as low as 3.3V.
