The MC56F81866VLF is NXP's new entry-level digital signal controller (DSC) product. This power-efficient series is based on the high-performance 56800EX DSP core at frequencies up to 100 MHz. This series extends the cost performance of DSC products to the best of its class, and it is NXP's first DSC product to integrate a digital signature algorithm security subsystem (DSASS) and a high-speed, low-power operational amplifier. The series extends memory to 128KB Flash, 20KB RAM and 64KB boot ROM. in addition, the series makes a number of feature enhancements, including enhanced DMA functionality (eDMA), configurable logic event generator (EVTG), dual 1.6MSps 12-bit ADCs and full PMBus support. Providing a very cost-effective solution for power conversion and motor control applications.
