The TLE9868QXB20 single-chip two-phase motor driver is an automotion-grade standard system-on-chip (SoC) device specifically designed to provide space-efficient solutions for mechatronics DC motor drive applications. Some of these DC motor drive applications include sunroofs, electric window lifters, exhaust flaps, and water valve lifters.

This single-chip device integrates the industry-standard ARM® Cortex®-M3 core for advanced motor control algorithms. The TLE986x device also includes four fully integrated NFET drivers optimized to drive two-phase motors with four external power NFets. There is a charge pump for low voltage operation. The TLE986x features programmable current and current slope control to optimize EMC performance. The device's peripherals include a current sensor, a successive approximation ADC synchronized to the acquisition and comparison unit (for PWM control), and a 16-bit timer. The device integrates a LIN transceiver to communicate with the device and has a large amount of general-purpose I/O.
