The LTC1859IG is an 8-channel, 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a sampling rate of 100ksps and a fail-safe capability of ±25V . Powered by a single 5V supply, the device supports a software-programmable input range of 0V to 5V, 0V to 10V, ±5V or ±10V, and can be set to a single-ended or differential input . The LTC1859IG also has two outage modes with a typical power consumption of 40mW and a typical signal-to-noise ratio of 87dB. In addition, it uses an SPI interface, is compatible with MICROWIRE™ serial I/O, and has a nap mode and a sleep mode .
