Overview

The A5191HRTLG-XTD is a single-chip CMOS modem for addressable Highway Addressable Remote Sensor Data (HART) field instruments and master nodes. The modem, in combination with a number of external passive components, provides all the functionality needed to meet the physical layer requirements of HART, including modulation, demodulation, receive filtering, carrier detection, and transmit signal shaping.


Features

- Single-chip, half-duplex, 1200 bit-per-second FSK modem

- Bell 202 shift frequency of 1200 Hz and 2200 Hz

- 3.0 V - 5.5 V power supply

- Transmit signal waveform shaping

- Receive bandpass filter

- Low power consumption: optimal for intrinsically safe applications

- Compatible with 3.3 V or 5 V microcontrollers

- Internal oscillator requires 460.8 kHz crystal or ceramic resonator

- Compliant with HART physical layer requirements

- Industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C

- Available in a 32-pin LQFP package

- These devices are lead-free
