Device description:

The TPSM365R6V5RDNR is a 600mA, 65V input synchronous step-down DC/DC power module that integrates power MOSFETs, integrated inductors and starting capacitors in a compact and easy-to-use 3.5mm x 4.5mm x 2mm 11-pin QFN package. Small HotRod™ QFN package technology improves thermal performance and reduces EMI. The device has an ultra-low operating IQ of 4µA (24V to 3.3V V OUT) when unloaded. The TPSM365Rx offers two fixed output voltage options that support 3.3V and 5V, and an adjustable output voltage option that supports the 1V to 13V range. The module requires only four external components for 3.3V and 5V fixed output solutions. The TPSM365Rx is optimized for excellent EMI performance and space-constrained applications.

The TPSM365Rx uses a peak current mode control scheme with internal compensation to maintain stable operation and minimal input capacitance. The precision EN function enables precise control of device startup and shutdown. The open leak PGOOD output provides a true indication of the output voltage state. The TPSM365Rx includes pre-biased start, overcurrent and temperature protection, making the TPSM365Rx an excellent device for powering a wide range of applications. In fixed option models, the MODE/SYNC pin enables a seamless transition from FPWM to PFM with a no-load standby static current of less than 4µA, ensuring high efficiency and excellent transient response over the entire load current range.

The pin-optional FPWM MODE provides a constant frequency under light loads via the MODE/SYNC pin

FSW is synchronized with the MODE/SYNC pin

Meets CISPR11 Class B requirements
