With native support for the Android™ operating environment, the PTX130R NFC Reader IC provides an ideal way to add NFC communication capabilities to embedded computing systems built around touchscreen displays. The PTX130R's antenna, with its ultra-high RF output power of up to 2W, provides strong connectivity, enabling Oems to meet the stringent requirements of EMVCo standards for payment card transactions even by operating close to or behind noisy displays.

The PTX130R Multi-Protocol NFC Forum compatible reader provides a modular soft controller architecture that integrates NFC functionality into a separate stack solution. The solution provides time-critical operations running on on-chip HW accelerators, while the rest of the NFC logic resides in the host controller for applications such as POS, IOT card readers, and Android devices.

Efficient power transmission with precise RF carrier digital programmability and modulation shape

Because of the positive wave output driver and Direct antenna connection (DiRAC), the EMC filter is no longer required

Thanks to DiRAC, the RX sensitivity is -80 DBC with full-scale dynamic range
