LP8860HQVFPRQ1 is an efficient LED driver for automotive with a boost controller. It has four high-precision current absorbers that can be controlled by PWM input signal, SPI or I2C host, or by a combination of both. The boost converter can perform adaptive output voltage control according to the residual voltage of the LED current absorber. This feature minimizes power consumption by regulating the voltage under all conditions to the lowest level that can meet the needs. The boost controller supports spread frequency for switching frequencies and external synchronization using dedicated pins. The high switching frequency allows the LP8860-Q1 to avoid interference in the amplitude modulated (AM) RF band.
