Qorvo (NASDAQ: QRVO) further expands its UWB portfolio by introducing the QM35825, its first fully integrated low-power ultra-wideband (UWB) system-on-chip (SoC). This high-performance, ultra-low-power SoC leverages radar-based sensing technology to enable precise location tracking for applications such as automated presence detection, home security access, contactless vital signs monitoring, and personalized content experiences.

Thanks to Qorvo's more than a decade of expertise in the UWB field, the QM35825 achieves an impressive 104dBm link budget and features on-chip artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) processing capabilities to significantly improve ranging accuracy and stability. Based on a developer-centric architecture, the new solution provides easy-to-access apis that ensure smooth integration with the existing ecosystem and accelerate the deployment of innovative UWB applications.

The QM35825 evaluation and development kit will be available from June through Qorvo distributors worldwide.
