The MSP430FR5964IZVWR is a 16MHz MCU with 256KB FRAM, 8KB SRAM, AES, 12-bit ADC, comparator, DMA, UART/SPI/I2C, and timer.


The MSP430FR596x microcontroller (MCU) takes low power consumption and performance to new levels with a unique Low Energy accelerator (LEA) for digital signal processing. The accelerator delivers up to 40 times the performance of Arm® Cortex®-M0+ MCUS and can assist developers in efficiently processing data using complex functions such as FFT, finite Impulse response (FIR) and matrix multiplication. The freely available DSP library can be implemented without resorting to DSP experts. In addition, these devices have a unified standard memory of up to 256KB of FRAM, providing more space for advanced applications and greater flexibility for over-the-air firmware updates.


The MSP430FR596x MCU is supported by an extensive hardware and software ecosystem that provides reference designs and code examples to help users quickly develop designs.
