Xilinx Zynq™ UltraScale+™ MPSoC devices not only provide 64-bit processor scalability, but also combine real-time control with a hardware and software engine to support graphics, video, waveform, and packet processing. Placed on a platform that includes a general-purpose real-time processor and programmable logic, three different variants including dual-core application processor (CG) devices, quad-core application processor and GPU (EG) devices, and video codec (EV) devices create endless possibilities for 5G wireless, next-generation ADAS, and Industrial iot.
The XCZU2EG-L2SFVC784E (EG) device uses a heterogeneous processing system consisting of quad-core Cortex™-A53 and dual-core Cortex™-R5 real-time processing units. Combined with 16nm FinFET+ programmable logic and (GPU) Arm Mali™-400MP2, it performs well in wired and wireless infrastructure, data centers, and aerospace and defense applications.
