Multi-phase configurable design
The ISL95855AIRTZ supports three independent outputs (VR A, VR B, and VR C), which correspond to the power supply requirements of the CPU core, graphics unit, and system agent rails, respectively. VR A can be configured for 3-phase, 2-phase or 1-phase operation, VR B supports 2-phase or 1-phase, and VR C is a single-phase design. This flexibility enables it to adapt to different load scenarios and optimise the energy efficiency ratio.
High Accuracy and Wide Voltage Range
With an output range of 0V to 1.52V and a system accuracy of ±0.5% over the full temperature range, ISL95855AIRTZ regulator ensures a stable voltage input for processors with the IMVP8™ architecture. Its differential remote voltage detection function further enhances the accuracy of voltage regulation.
Intelligent Control and Protection Mechanisms
The ISL95855AIRTZ supports Intel Serial Data Bus Interface (SVID), which can be programmed to implement Dynamic Voltage Regulation (DVID) and a variety of protection functions, including over-current, over-voltage and over-temperature protection. In addition, its lossless inductor DCR current detection and adaptive body diode conduction technology significantly reduces power consumption and response time.
High-performance power management
In the PS4 low-power state, the ISL95855AIRTZ has an extremely low quiescent current, effectively extending the life of mobile devices. Its switching frequency can be programmed with external resistors to suit the energy efficiency requirements of different application scenarios.
