Overview:

The ATSAMA5D29-CN is a high-performance, low-power embedded microprocessor (MPU) based on ARM Cortex-A5 cpus running at up to 500MHz and supporting a wide range of memory such as DDR2, DDR3L, LPDDR2, LPDDR3, and QSPI and E.MC flash memory. The device integrates powerful peripherals for connectivity and user interface applications (including two ISO-compliant CAN-FD interfaces) and offers advanced security features (ARM TrustZone®, tamper detection, secure data storage, secure boot, etc.), as well as high-performance encryption accelerators AES, Sha, and TRNG.

The SAMA5D29 is certified for an extended industrial temperature range (-40°C to 105°C external temperatures) and is AEC-Q100 Level 2 certified.

Microchip offers a fully tested and proven power management solution that meets the SAMA5D29's specific power timing requirements for a variety of power supplies and DRAM configurations, enabling a risk-free solution immediately upon first power-on.
