It is also available in two integrated 2 Gb DDR3L system level package (SiP) and System on Chip (SoC) models, designed for human machine interface (HMI) and high connectivity applications.

The graphics capabilities of the SAMA7D65 MPU include LVDS, MIPI DSI interface, and 2D GPU. These high-performance capabilities transmit and process more data for efficient graphics performance, making them the best solution for HMI applications in the industrial, medical and transportation markets.

The SAMA7D65 MPU is equipped with advanced audio and connectivity capabilities, including dual Gigabit Ethernet for time-sensitive networking (TSN), enabling the precise synchronization and low-latency communications critical to real-time systems. These features are primarily targeted at industrial and building automation HMI applications, where seamless data exchange and deterministic networks are essential for responsive and reliable user interfaces.

The SAMA7D65D2G SiP features 2 Gb DDR3L memory for high-speed synchronous dynamic random access operations, and its low-voltage design reduces power consumption and improves energy efficiency. SiP is designed to speed up the design process and time to market by solving problems in high-speed memory interface design up front and simplifying memory supply.

The SAMA7D65 series is aimed at applications with interactive touchscreen displays and complements Microchip's existing SAMA7G54 1 GHz Arm Cortex-A7 based MPUs. Embedded developers using Microchip MPU can leverage the Microchip Graphics Suite platform to build complex graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and other graphics applications within the MPLAB Harmony v3 and Linux software platforms.
