Product Description:

The MFS5600AMMA7ES automotive step-down regulator and controller integrates a battery-connected DC-DC controller (with external FET) and a battery-connected DC-DC converter (with internal FET). The NXP FS5600 has a variety of functional safety features, including a standalone voltage monitor, window watchdog timer, I/O monitoring via ERRMON and FCCU, and built-in self-tests. The FS5600 is available in enhanced ASIL B, ASIL B, and QM models. The enhanced ASIL B version features a Challenger watchdog and Logical BIST (LBIST) that can be used to implement ASIL D functional security at the system level. Additional security mechanisms may need to be established at the system level to comply with ASIL D standards.
