Product Overview

The RG500Q series from Quectel is a 5G Sub-6 GHz LGA packaged module designed for IoT/M2M applications. Adopting 3GPP Release 15 technology, the maximum downlink speed is up to 2.5 Gbps, and the maximum uplink speed is up to 900 Mbps. 5G NSA and SA modes are supported, with backward compatibility with 4G/3G, and network architectures such as Option 3x, 3a and Option 2. The RG500Q series can meet customer requirements for high speed, high capacity, low latency and high reliability.

The RG500Q series includes the following versions: RG500Q-EA and RG500Q-NA*. Based on Qualcomm's advanced IZat™ positioning technology (Gen9C Lite), the RG500Q series integrates a multi-constellation, high-precision positioning GNSS receiver that supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou (Compass), Galileo, and QZSS positioning technologies, enabling faster, more accurate, and more reliable positioning, while greatly simplifying product design.

The RG500Q series has built-in rich network protocols, integrates multiple industrial standard interfaces such as USB 2.0/3.0/3.1, PCIe, RGMII, PCM, UART, etc., and supports various drivers and software functions (such as USB drivers under Windows 7/8/8.1/10, Linux, Android, etc.), which greatly expands its application in IoT and M2T. It greatly expands its application scope in IoT and M2M fields, such as industrial-grade routers, home gateways, set-top boxes, industrial-grade PDAs, ruggedised industrial tablets, video surveillance and digital signage.
