Description

u-blox's NOR-W2 Amazon Web Services (AWS) ExpressLink series standalone multi-radio modules offer Wi-Fi 4 connectivity as well as Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) 5 connectivity (including Bluetooth remote connectivity), And combine AWS IoT ExpressLink with your on-premise AWS connection. It can be used with antenna pins (NORA-W251AWS) or printed circuit board (PCB) antennas (NORA-W256AWS).

The NORA-W2 series consists of separate multi-radio modules that integrate a powerful 32-bit dual-core microcontroller unit (MCU) and a radio for wireless communication. Wireless devices support Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth LE 5 in the 2.4GHz ISM band.

Embedded AWS IoT expresslink compatible software includes a pre-flashing security certificate in the module. This allows the module to provide out-of-the-box connectivity to AWS without any effort from the customer. It also supports secure over-the-air (OTA) updates for module firmware and host applications.

NORA-W2's small size and embedded security features make it ideal for critical iot applications where security is very important. It is designed to secure boot, ensuring that modules are only launched when authenticated software is present. The NORA-W2 series is globally certified, reducing time to market for the final product.
