Overview

Sequans' Cassiopeia is a family of Cat4 and Cat6 LTE-Advanced platforms that includes the SQN3220 Cat6 baseband SoC and SQN3220SC Cat4 baseband SoC with integrated high-performance network and application CPUs, Sequans' SQN3242 LTE-optimized transceiver, carrier-proven Cassiopeia, a standalone single-mode 4G LTE-A solution designed for maximum performance and efficiency, is a powerful, compact, cost-effective LTE-A connectivity solution for feature-rich, high-performance mobile devices. Cassiopeia supports single-carrier and dual-carrier aggregation with total bandwidth up to 40 MHz and offers Class 1, Class 4 and Class 6 throughput.

Applications

Cassiopeia is designed for feature-rich, high-performance LTE mobile devices such as CPEs, residential gateways, integrated access devices, mobile routers, IoT gateways, and add-on data cards (e.g., USB dongles, M.2 cards, and PCI Express mini cards).
