TPS92629QDGNRQ1 Device Overview

The TPS92629-Q1 single-channel LED driver features a unique thermal management design that reduces device temperature rise. The TPS92629-Q1 is a linear driver powered directly from an automotive battery with a wide voltage range and can output full current loads up to 250mA. An external shunt resistor can be used to share the output current and driven by the driver. The device has comprehensive diagnostic features including open LED, shorted LED ground, shorted LED battery and device overheat protection. The high accuracy and optimised slew rate of the analogue dimming control supports off-board long line drives, enhancing EMC performance and eliminating flicker and residual image issues. Multiple faults can be reported with different voltage levels on the FAULT pin for safety-critical applications.
