Product Details

The LinkSwitch-3 family of integrated circuits greatly simplifies the design of low-power CV/CC chargers by eliminating the need for an optocoupler and secondary control circuit. The devices introduce a revolutionary control technique that provides very precise output voltage and current regulation, compensating for transformer and internal parameter tolerances as well as input voltage variations.


The device integrates a 725 V power MOSFET, a novel on/off control state machine, a high voltage switched current source for self-biasing, frequency dithering, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and hysteretic thermal shutdown circuitry on a monolithic IC.
