The series includes a 1x1 dual-band (2.4GHz/5GHz) and a single-band (2.4GHz) 20MHz Wi-Fi 6 sub-system, delivering robust, reliable connectivity and excellent coverage. Low-power Bluetooth simplifies device commissioning, supports high-speed data transmission up to 2Mbit/s, and provides remote and extended broadcast capabilities. In addition, the IW610 series supports 802.15.4 Thread mesh networking, extending the Matter eco-cooperation system by supporting Matter over Wi-Fi and Thread. The series offers multiple host interface options, SDIO or USB for Wi-Fi, UART or USB for BLE, and SPI for 802.15.4.
