Description:

TPS55340PWPR This device can be configured into a variety of standard switching regulator topologies including boost, SEPIC and isolated flyback. The device has a wide input voltage range to support applications powered by multiple batteries or via 3.3V, 5V, 12V and 24V regulated power rails.

The TPS55340PWPR uses current-mode PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control to regulate the output voltage and is equipped with an internal oscillator.The PWM switching frequency is set by an external resistor or synchronised to an external clock signal. The device has a programmable soft-start feature to limit inrush current during startup and other built-in protection features including cycle-by-cycle overcurrent limiting and thermal shutdown.
