SARA-U201-04B-00 is a global ultra-small HSPA/GSM module with low power consumption and rich feature set, including dual stack IPv4 / IPv6.

Description:

The SARa-U2 series module is a 3.75G UMTS/HSPA solution that supports GSM/(E)GPRS and features a small (26.0 x 16.0 mm, 96-pin)SARA LGA form factor that allows seamless migration from/to other u-blox cellular module families. The SARA-U2 module has HSPA data rates of 7.2 megabits per second (downlink) and 5.76 megabits per second (uplink). These modules provide data and voice communication over an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, with low power consumption and a rich feature set, including dual-stack IPv4 / IPv6.

The SARA-U2 family includes variants that support global operation, band combinations in North America, Europe, Asia, and other countries. Cost-saving UMTS dedicated models are also available.

SARA-U2 modules are fully qualified certified solutions that reduce costs and shorten time to market. They are ideal for M2M applications such as: mobile Internet terminals, automotive infotainment and telemetry, automatic meter reading (AMR), Remote Monitoring Automation and Control (RMAC), surveillance and security, road pricing, asset tracking, fleet management, anti-theft systems and point-of-sale (PoS) terminals.

The SARA-U2 module supports full access to u-blox GNSS receivers via a serial port. Therefore, any main processor connected to the cellular module via a single serial port can control the cellular module and locate the chip/module.
