The ADM3053BRWZ is an isolated Controller Area Network (CAN) physical layer transceiver with integrated isolated DC/DC converters, compliant with ISO 11898. The device uses Analog Devices' iCoupler® technology to combine dual-channel isolators,

The CAN transceiver and ADI's isoPower® DC/DC converter are integrated into a single SOIC sticker package. An on-chip oscillator outputs a wave to drive an internal transformer to provide isolated power. Powered by a single 5V supply, the device provides a fully isolated CAN solution.

The ADM3053 creates a fully isolated interface between the CAN protocol controller and the physical layer bus. It works at a data rate of up to 1Mbps.

The device has current limiting and thermal shutdown characteristics to prevent short circuit in the output. The rated temperature range is in the industrial temperature range and is available in a 20-pin, wide-body SOIC package.
