Vishay's AEC-Q200 certified 0102, 0204 and 0207 encapsulation film MELF resistors introduce precision devices with increased resistance range - MMU 0102, MMA 0204 and MMB 0207. With a temperature coefficient (TCR) as low as ± 15 ppm/K, tolerances of only ± 0.1% and resistance values up to 10 MΩ, these three Vishay Beyschlag devices meet the requirements for high stability and reliability in a variety of applications.

Compared to previous thin-film MELF resistor products, the resistance value of the device released today is significantly improved. For example, a 0204 package with a TCR of ± 25 ppm/K and a tolerance of 0.1% used to have a resistance of only 511 k. Under the same conditions of TCR and tolerance, the resistance value of precision MMA 0204 is increased by 10 times to 5.11 MΩ, and the resistance value of ± 15 ppm/K is lower than 1 MΩ under TCR conditions. Because of the increased resistance, a single MMA 0204 or MMB 0207 can replace multiple low-resistance devices in series, not only saving space, but also helping to simplify the design and reduce the overall cost.

Based on advanced metal film technology, precision resistors improve the reliability of power current detection for automotive advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), liDAR, connectivity and camera systems, and communications, industrial and medical devices. In these applications, the device has a robust design, good sulfur resistance, and excellent overall stability with a stability rating of more than 0.05.
