Device description:

The ADMV1012AEZ is a compact gallium arsenide (GaAs) design, single-chip microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) double-sideband (DSB) downconverter in a RoHS compliant package optimized for point-to-point microwave radio designs in the input frequency range 17.5 GHz to 24 GHz.


The ADMV1012 provides 15 dB conversion gain, 25 dB image rejection, and 2.5 dB noise index. The ADMV1012 uses a radio frequency (RF) low noise amplifier (LNA) followed by a in-phase/quadrature (I/Q) double-balanced mixer with a local oscillator (LO) integrated ×2 multiplier driven by the drive amplifier. It has IF1 and IF2 quadrature mixer outputs, and the required external 90° hybrid device is used to select the desired sideband.
