Microchip AVR32DU28-I/STX 8-bit microcontrollers use AVR® cpus with hardware multipliers running at clock speeds up to 24MHz. The MCU has 32KB of flash memory, 4KB of SRAM, and 256-byte EEPROM. The AVR DU MCU supports vibrateless USB operation and includes an optional internal 3.3V regulator. The MCU operates in a wide industrial operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.

The AVR DU family of MCUS uses CIP and USB 2.0 along with event systems and Configurable Custom Logic (CCL) to provide efficient data transmission and noise resistance for industrial applications. These MCUS offer seamless USB updates and TTL compatible pins for secure, uninterrupted functionality. Its USB stack supports multiple device categories and powers multifunctional applications such as charging and system upgrades.

AVR DU series MCUS comply with IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 functional safety standards, making them ideal for safety-critical industrial and automotive applications.
