MachXO3D™ FPGas are the next generation of low-density PLDS, including enhanced security features and on-chip dual-boot flash memory. MachXO3D FPGA features hardware trusted root and dual-boot capabilities for enhanced security control applications. With MachXO3D, it's easy to achieve comprehensive, flexible and robust hardware security throughout the entire product lifecycle. This customizable approach enables the implementation of a variety of system architectures.

The MachXO3D FPGA has a number of powerful security features, such as encryption detection and preventing malicious code from starting. The configuration flash memory on the device supports dual boot and requires no external memory. The enhanced device configuration engine ensures that only FPGA configurations from trusted sources can be installed. MachXO3D devices also provide flexible, reliable and secure configurations via on-chip flash memory with encryption and authentication options.

MachXO3D complies with NIST SP 800 193 Platform Firmware Resilience (PFR) guidelines. MachXO3D is available in two performance levels: Ultra-low power (ZC) or High performance (HC).
